Internet Advertising vs. Traditional Advertising

More and more businesses are realizing that not only does online advertising work but you also get more value compared to traditional advertising like newspapers, direct mail and radio. However, many small and medium sized businesses assume that internet advertising is out of their reach - too technical, too complex or too time consuming. But it’s not.

We help businesses stay competitive and attract new customers by cost effectively marketing your business across the internet’s most popular search engines and news sites. Some of the advantages that internet advertising offers compared to traditional advertising include:

1. Online directories and search engines are the new Yellow Book.
Every day more and more business is done on the web. And, increasingly, people looking to do business start with a search on a search engine or online directory. Remember, if they can’t find you while they’re looking online don’t expect them to pick up a dusty, heavy Yellow Book to look further.

2. Internet advertising is highly targeted.
With traditional advertising like newspapers, direct mail or radio ads are simply broadcast to a mass audience. It’s intrusive. But search engine marketing is highly effective because your ads appear only to qualified prospects at the precise moment when they are searching for your products or services.

3. Internet advertising can be tracked.
It is impossible to know how many people saw your ad and difficult to know if someone came to your store or called you because they saw your ad. However, with internet advertising we can track exactly how many people saw your ad (impressions), how many people clicked on your ad and went to your website and so much more. Using this information we can measure and optimize future ads.

4. Internet advertising offers a high degree of flexibility and control.
With search engine marketing there is no minimum spending requirement. Once the campaigns are set up you can spend as much or as little as you want by setting daily or monthly budgets.

5. Internet advertising can be much more cost effective compared to other advertising. Conversion rates from internet advertising efforts are usually much better than traditional because of the targeted nature of internet mediums.

6. Internet advertising has greater range.
It offers the ability to target local, regional, national and global customers.
You don’t have to worry about trying to find different publications, radio stations and television stations that cater to a particular geographical area.

On the whole, internet advertising can be a great way to promote your business in a cost-effective, efficient way.

RomanticWarehouse.com New Webiste

In July when Romantic Warehouse’s General Manager Denise Enton first contacted us she had a lot of questions about building a website. At the time the company had 2 retail stores and was mostly advertising in local newspapers. They wanted to develop a website so that they could promote the website in the newspaper ads they were running and also so customers could purchase discreetly online. Denise did some research and gave us some examples of her competitor’s websites. We met with her to discuss the project and then we got started working on a full blown ecommerce website. After months in development (there are over 10,000 products on their website) the site is finally finished. “You guys did a great job and we couldn’t be happier!” – Denise Enton; General Manager Romantic Warehouse.

We encourage everyone to visit their site www.RomanticWarehouse.com and to leave your comments and feedback here on our blog.

Talk about bad service

A customer recently contacted us and was interested in having some animated banner ads developed as well as a peel away ad. We gave him a quote and the same day he made a payment. A couple days later we sent him the finished banners and gladly installed the peel away ad on his site. Afterwards he called me and personally thanked me. He went on to tell me how he contacted another company weeks ago and made a payment and for 2 weeks he didn't hear a peep from anyone. He tried emailing and calling several times and not once got a response. He said before he made a payment he had emailed the company details/notes about what he needed and they were responsive and very helpful so he wasn't worried when he made a payment. It came back to haunt him. Finally after 2 wks someone wrote back an email saying they were sorry for the delay and would get the banners done soon....another week went by and nothing. After trying to contact them again he gave up and realized he had been ripped off. Needless to say this customer has become a loyal client to our company.
